Van Wert City Police

12/30/17 2:50 p.m.

Jeremy L. Lindeman, 35, Lima, and Pamela R. King, 25, homeless, were arrested on outstanding warrants issued out of Van Wert Municipal Court.

1/1/18 6:34 p.m.

Stephanie R. Fannon, 37, of Van Wert, was arrested and charged with one count of domestic violence.

1/3/18 7:29 p.m.

Jason K. Ward, 26, of Van Wert, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Lima Police Department.

1/4 1:45 a.m.

Ecco R. Burker, 33, of Coldwater, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Tyler Street.

1/4 11:02 a.m.

Adrian R. Daniels, 18, of Grover Hill, was arrested in the 600 block of North Race Street for an outstanding warrant from Paulding County.

Van Wert Sheriff Office reports

1/1/18 4:24 p.m.

Elicia R. Bowdish, 34, of Ada, was arrested on a warrant issued out of Van Wert Common Pleas Court.

Delphos City Police

On 12-27-2017, officers spoke with a male at the police department who reported a theft incident in the 900 block of East 2nd Street. The male told officers that an item was stolen out of his vehicle that was parked in his driveway.

On 12-28-2017, officers were sent to the 700 block of West Clime Street after receiving a complaint of criminal damaging. Officers arrived and found that the complainant’s vehicle had the driver’s door window shattered out.

On 12-28-2017, officers responded to a business in the 1100 block of Elida Avenue to take a theft report. Officers spoke with an employee, at the business, and found that a customer had been shopping inside the store and had concealed items inside of his clothing. The male’s identity was known by store employees and detectives are currently reviewing surveillance video to identify all items taken and to file appropriate charges.

On 12-30-2017 in the early morning hours, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Main Street to perform a well being check on a female. The caller stated that the female had not been heard from for many hours and that she has a history of domestic abuse from her boyfriend. Officers arrived and attempted to make contact with the female at the residence. After a long period and, several attempts, officers were finally able to locate the female and her boyfriend. The female advised officers that everything was fine and requested no further action.

On 12-30-2017 in the afternoon hours, officers were dispatched back to a residence in the 300 block of South Main Street for a female threatening to harm herself. Officers arrived and met with the female. She stated that she was fine, but agreed to voluntarily go with Delphos EMS to the hospital for mental evaluation and any needed treatment.

On 1-1-2018, an officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic violation. During the investigation of the traffic violation officers found probable cause to arrest the driver, 27 year old Deric Burgei, of Cloverdale, for operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Burgei was issued a citation and will appear in Van Wert Municipal Court to face the charges of OVI and marked lanes usage.

On 1-1-2018, officers took a report from a female at the police department in reference to possible stolen items. The female told officers that she was storing several items in her mothers garage and on today’s date found that those items were now missing. The complainant stated that there was no forced entry into the garage and she believes a family member may have taken the items.

On 1-2-2018, officers spoke with a male complainant who wished to report a telecommunications harassment incident. The male told officers that his ex-girlfriend was calling and texting him repeatedly. The male requested a report for possible charges.

On 1-2-2018, officers met with a female in the 700 block of South Clay Street in reference to a Telecommunications Harassment report. The female there told officers that her ex-boyfriend is continuing to text and call her after being advised to cease contact with her. This report will be reviewed by the prosecutor’s office for possible charges.

On 1-3-2018, officers met with a male at the police department who wished to report a menacing incident. The male told officers that someone placed a note on his vehicle threatening him bodily harm. The male believed that the note was left by his girlfriends ex-boyfriend. The incident remains under investigation.

On 1-3-2018, officers were sent to the 200 block of West Clime Street to investigate an assault complaint. Officers arrived and met with the female complainant. She told officers that her boyfriend’s mother assaulted her after an argument that the two had. The female requested that charges be pursued for assault. Officers spoke with the suspect who admitted to the assault. Charges will be filed in Van Wert Municipal Court and the name of the female is being withheld until the charges are filed.

On 1-3-2018, officers responded to a fight in progress at a business in the 1100 block of Elida Avenue. Officers arrived and met with a victim who stated that another male was in the business that attempted to assault him. The victim stated that the male left when police were called. Video surveillance is being reviewed and charges may soon be filed.
