Animals of Nativity coming to Mendon

MENDON - In Mendon, Ohio you will find it very clear that Christmas is being celebrated with the Town Hall Christmas Tree Walk, and then on down Main Street you will find the Animals of the Nativity. The events occur Dec. 7 from 5-9 p.m. and Dec. 8 from 1-5 p.m.
This is a "hands-on" nativity, meeting camels, like carried the wise men to Bethlehem, the lowly donkey who carried Mary on that long journey, and the stable animals: the cow, goats and sheep. Also there will be baby bunnies to pet, the goats and some sheep will be wondering around the stable (Old Mendon Fire House) for all to love and feed them treats.
It is with great appreciation to Jim and Mary Godwin for making the Old Fire House available, also DK Ranch, Don Barber, Moonlight Menagerie, Cindy Lee, and Homestead Donkeys, Linda Kramer for bringing the array of animals for the nativity. Animals of the nativity could not happen without these fine folds and their animals. We would love for you to come and visit our stable and pet the animals, bring your cameras, take pictures and visit friends and neighbors in Mendon.
