Golden Dragon Acrobats bring Cirque show to NPAC

Representing nearly 25 centuries of a time honored art, Cirque Ziva: featuring the Golden Dragon Acrobats are the premiere Chinese acrobatic performers of the United States and abroad. For fans of mind blowing acrobatics, spectacular costumes, and ancient and contemporary music, these high flying performers return to the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, with an all new show. They will perform two shows at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this show will go on sale today, Nov. 14, 2012 at noon in the box office, by phone at (419) 238-6722 or online at www.npacvw.org or Facebook.
The Golden Dragon Acrobats were established in 1967 by Lien Chi Chang. After working 17 years under his father, Danny Chang took over the position as president of the Golden Dragon Acrobats. Through his great passion for the arts, Danny Chang has built the Golden Dragon Acrobats to be the preeminent Chinese acrobatic company in the United States. The impresario Chang and his choreographer wife, Angela Chang have combined their skills in the arts and have created a spellbinding masterpiece for everyone to enjoy.
