Ten years ago, Ernie Haase decided to gather a group of men who shared his love for God to share through music, that love. Through this, they have touched hearts around the world. This award winning gospel quartet's energetic performances and great harmonies make them far from the usual. Together, they have won many awards and affected people from all places. This Southern Gospel Quartet takes the stage at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 7 p.m. Tickets for this show go on sale December 20th, 2012 through the box office, by phone at (419) 238-6722, or online at or Facebook.

Ernie Haase and Signature Sound (EHSS) released their first dvd in 2007. Quickly topping the charts, the dvd was one of the best on the Contemporary Christian Music Video Chart. EHSS won Gospel Music Association Dove Awards for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year and Southern Gospel Album of the Year. Their heavenly way of communicating the good news gave them the nickname, "ambassadors of joy." Each new album brings them greater success. The group has also been recognized as one of the groups responsible for a enlarging the followers of gospel music.

Ernie Haase and Signature Sound perform over one hundred shows annually. This year they toured in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and India. The group attracts new listeners around the world with their refreshing approach to gospel. Their contagious energy spreads through each performance, affecting every ear and heart that hears this quartet. The Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio and sponsor, WTLW-TV are proud to present this unique group with a signature sound.
