CELINA - The Mercer County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at the Richardson Bretz Memorial Building.

The speaker will be Karen Miller Bennett. Bennett is a Board-certified genealogist who has been doing family history research for nearly 20 years. She is the refinisher of the Lima Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, former officer and committee chair of the Ohio Genealogical Society and a member of numerous local, state, and national genealogical societies. She resides near Celina with her husband Joe.

Bennett will demonstrate numerous devices, gadgets, programs and apps to make family history research easier. Items discussed will include portable scanners, digital cameras, tablets, smart phones, data storage and mobility.

The Richardson Bretz Building is located at 115 West Fulton Street in Celina. The meetings are free and the public is welcome.
