ROCKFORD - You won't want to miss the Parkway Elementary Spring Carnival on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Parkway High School Gymnasium.

The Spring Carnival is focused on providing low cost family fun. Twenty-five cent tickets will be sold to redeem for games set up throughout the gymnasium midway, such as plinko, washer toss, ring toss, feed the panther, milk bottle toss, go fish, goldfish toss, and the duck pond. Children can test their energy in the inflatable obstacle course, jump house and giant slide. Treat yourself to carnival treats such as cotton candy and shaved ice or choose sandwiches, chips, cookies and beverages that will be available for purchase.

Children will have the opportunity for face painting, sand art, balloon animals and juggler Craig Muhlenkamp will be performing. Play games for a chance to win awesome prizes! The grand prize for the day is a Kindle Fire. Everyone is invited to come enjoy the fun!

Also, this year Kerns Ford in Celina will be sponsoring Drive 4 UR School for the Parkway Education Association Scholarship fund. For every valid test-drive completed at Parkway that day, Ford Motor Company will donate $20, up to $6,000! That is $15 for the scholarship fund and $5 for High 5. So, the more people who test-drive a Ford vehicle at the carnival, the more money can be raised! Drivers must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license to participate.

The High Five Cooperative, a Parkway organization comprised of parents, teachers, administrators, residents and students is presenting the annual spring carnival. High Five welcomes all children in the surrounding communities and their families.
