VAN WERT — The YMCA has announced the 2017 Aqua Park season with Vancrest, Taylor Auto, Leland Smith, First Federal, Van Wert County Hospital, Citizens Wealth Management, Apex Clean Energy and Elks Lodge 1197 booking their dates for the 2017 Business Day season.

The YMCA Camp Clay Aqua Park would like to thank the community and local Businesses for supporting the 2016 Aqua Park summer season. The season was a great success with many days attendance reaching over 400 kids and families. The fully staffed Aqua Park includes many one-of-a-kind activities including a water zip line, ferry raft to the island, inflatable Aqua “toys,” paddle boats, canoes, playground, sandy beach and 3600 sq. ft. Splash Pad.

The Aqua Park added the “Business Day Out” option to give businesses an opportunity to sponsor a day at the Aqua Park to help advertise their business and give back to the community. The Aqua Park had such overwhelming support by Van Wert’s great local businesses that the Aqua Park was able to offer 40 business days for the community to enjoy the Aqua Park at a reduced admission this past summer; offering families a fun environment to spend quality time together.

The 2017 Aqua Park business-sponsored days are back by popular demand and will be four days a week offering a total of 47 business-sponsored days this season. New Camp Clay Director, Kevin Morrison said, “I am looking forward to the 2017 summer. I am very impressed with the amount of support and great relationships that local businesses have with the YMCA and Camp Clay. I am happy to be a part of sharing this beautiful camp with the whole community of Van Wert County.”

This summer’s business-sponsored days are already being booked and have a limited number of dates left. These days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the choice to purchase hot dogs, drinks and the climbing wall as additional options for business day sponsors as well.
