All four officers and four members of the Wassenberg Camera Club were on hand to process entries for the 2013 Van Wert County Fair's photography exhibit. Photos were accepted between the hours of 1-5 on Sunday afternoon with a large turnout of entries.

Youth submitted 19 black and white entries and 26 color pictures for a total of 45 pieces for the exhibit. In the senior division, there were 67 black and white photos submitted and 105 color entries for a total of 172 pictures. The grand total for the 2013 exhibit is 217 photographs.

Club members also assisted with the judging of the exhibit on Monday evening and will help host the exhibit during the fair. If you are interested in purchasing a photo that may be for sale please let the attendant know and they will contact the photographer regarding that possibility. The club's next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Wassenberg Art Center. Farm Animals will be the competition theme in prints and slides that evening. The Van Wert County Fair should provide some great photo ops!
