VAN WERT - Brice T. Krugh, 86, of Van Wert, died at 9:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born March 26, 1926, in Union Township, Mercer County, to the late Homer Krugh and Winifred M. (Post).
His wife, Margaret Alice (Bolton), died July 16, 2003. They were married Feb. 26, 1966.
Survivors include his children: Allen and Joanne Shinnaberry of Van Wert; a stepdaughter: Jane A. Maxfield of Lititz, Pa.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
He retired in 1988 from Federal Mogul, Van Wert, and also farmed. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He served as a tank driver with the 12th Armored Division in Europe during World War II.
He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Van Wert.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. W. Clark Williman of Calvary Evangelical Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon, Ohio, with military services at the cemetery.
Calling hours are Monday from 3 - 7 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Preferred memorial is CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
