BRYAN, Ohio — Larry K. Carter, 74, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, at his home.
worked in sales and marketing at Aro/Ingersol Rand for 35 years and
then Edgerton Forge for five years, until his retirement. He was a
member of the Moose and Eagles in Bryan and enjoyed golfing, fishing and
Larry was born Dec. 28, 1942, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son of Raymond L. and Dora M. (Curry) Carter.
married Betty L. Sheets on Sept. 15, 1962, in Van Wert, and she
survives. Larry is also survived by his son, Terry (Annette) Carter of
Montpelier; daughter, Beth (Mike) Picraux of Bryan; three grandchildren,
Brandyn Jaggers, Karlie (Robert) Coker and Shane Carter; two
great-granddaughters, Skyla and Jaci Van Horn, and a brother, Tom
(Anita) Carter of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
services for Larry K. Carter will held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at
11 a.m. at the Krill Funeral Home, 860 W. Mulberry St., Bryan, with
Pastor Sam Byroads officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove
Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on
Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 5 - 8 p.m.
