VAN WERT - Rev. Eleanor Anne Volk, 89, of Van Wert, died at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.
She was born March 9, 1923, in Delphos, to the late Joseph Davis and Mary (Stant).
Survivors include her daughters: Mary J. Joseph of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Catherine M. (Steve) Coburn of Mendon, Ohio, and Judith A. Stoddard of Van Wert, six grandchildren: Brian F. Joseph, Amy E. (Jeremy) Vandever, Stephen M. (Dorothy) Hinken, Amanda M. Hinken, Laine M. Stoddard, Lonnie A. Lehmkuhle, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: John Tegenkamp, five brothers and six sisters.
She was a graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School. Rev. Volk received her theological diploma from World Wide Native Evangelism School in Louisville, Ky. She was ordained for ministry on June 4, 1999, by the Pentecostal Way Church of Van Wert, Ohio.
Rev. Volk was also a certified Christian councilor, she received her accreditation from the American Association of Christian Counselors. Rev. Volk also received her Masters of Education from the University of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Bill Watson and Steve Coburn will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 2 - 7 p.m.
Preferred memorial is CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
