    VAN WERT — The Van Wert Lady Cougars welcomed the Kenton Lady Wildcats to Jubilee Park on a cool Friday night for Western Buckeye League softball action. The Lady Cougars had error-filled second and third innings, which allowed Kenton to build a lead that Van Wert could not overcome. The Wildcats won the game 15-9.

Parkway’s bats exploded in the later innings on Thursday night, putting up 10 runs in the final two frames for a 15-4 victory in six innings.
