    MIDDLE POINT — On December 30, Crestview’s girls basketball team was held to 14 percent shooting and 28 total points in a lopsided loss at Hicksville. Thanks to a 60-34 beat down the Lady Knights put on Patrick Henry on Tuesday night’s Division III sectional semifinal at Lincolnview, Crestview will get a chance to face the Aces again this weekend with a berth at districts on the line.

    SPENCERVILLE — The Van Wert Lady Cougars looked to kick off postseason play on Tuesday night at Spencerville High School against the Elida Lady Bulldogs as part of the Division II sectional tournament. The Lady Bulldogs used a big second quarter to pick up the 61-44 victory over Van Wert.

Wapakoneta came in first with 146 points, well ahead of second place Ottawa-Glandorf's 122.5. Van Wert came in 5th with 106.
