“It just came down to the end we could inbound the ball against their press for whatever reason. We just didn’t have it today. That is what happens when you don’t have your best game, you can lose,” Lady Lancer head coach Dan Williamson said. “We played hard enough to win, we did enough things right to win, we just didn’t do enough things at the end to win. That really cost us they made some big free throws at the end of the game and they made some shots that they weren’t making earlier in the game. So you have to give them credit: they stole this one from us; they deserve to win.”

With the 40-37 victory, Hicksville improves to 15-5 on the year and Lincolnview drops to 11-10 on the season.
