Van Wert junior Drew Bagley was named a first team selection at tight end when the Western Buckeye League announced its football honorees on Thursday.

Bagley joined a first team that also featured Offensive Player of the Year Isaac McAdams (QB, Elida) and Offensive lineman of the Year, Garrett Lauth (St. Marys). Bagley also earned a second-team selection as a defensive end, where he joined senior teammate Jacoby Kelly, who is a second-team pick at wide receiver and defensive back, and Jordan Danylchuk, who was a second-team pick at center despite missing the second half of the season after suffering an injury.

A foursome of Cougar juniors received all-league honorable mentions: quarterback Nate Place, linebacker Butch Eutsler, safety Jalen McCracken, and defensive lineman Nate Temple.
