The Midwest Athletic Conference recently released its boys and girls all-conference basketball teams for this season, and several locals made the list.

Senior guard Curtis Geise was named MAC Player of the Year on the boys side, and his coach Aaron Elwer earned MAC Co-Coach of the Year honors.

Senior Forward Ryan Buescher was also named to the All-MAC first team.

Senior Katie Vorst was the lone Lady Jay on the All-MAC first team. New Knoxville junior Haley Horstman was named MAC Player of the Year.

Parkway landed players on the all-conference second team on both the girls and boys sides. Junior forward Cami Hellwarth was named second team All-MAC for the girls, and junior forward Matt Heindel earned second team honors for the Panther boys.

Junior center Brant Barna was the lone Panther on the All-MAC honorable-mention list. He was joined by junior St. John's guard Eric Clark.

Senior forward Kylie Snyder earned honorable-mentinon All-MAC honors for the Lady Panthers.
