COLUMBUS - Former Wayne Trace standout point guard Kacee Hockenberry was named to the Pre-season All-GLIAC Women's Basketball first team of the South Division the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) offense announced Thursday.

Hockenberry, a junior this coming season, averaged 14.7 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.9 assists a contest last year as a sophomore. The former Raider was a second team all-GLIAC pick at the end of the 2012-2013 season.

Hockenberry is the starting point guard for Ohio Dominican University. The Lady Panthers are projected to finish sixth in the South Division, in which defending national champion Ashland is the favorite. The University of Findlay was picked to finish second.
During the 2012-2013 season, Hockenberry scored 20 or more points four times, including a stretch of three straight games in January with a career high 24 points coming against Ferris State and Malone.

Ohio Dominican is in its second season under the direction of head coach Lynsey Warren. The Lady Panthers were 11-15 a year go but graduated no seniors from that squad. Ohio Dominican opens its season on November 16 as the Lady Panthers visit Cedarville in a 7:00 p.m. contest.
