SPENCERVILLE - The Lincolnview boys soccer team traveled to Spencerville Thursday to take on the Spencerville coed squad in NWC action, and came away with a 5-1 victory.

Freshman midfielder Austin Leeth got Lincolnview in the scoring column a minute into the game, with a goal off of a corner kick by Conner McCleery.

Senior Nick Leeth scored four minutes later for the Lancers, off a pass from Kade Carey. Carey then added a goal of his own to give the Lancers a 3-0 advantage.

Carey found Nick Leeth again later in the half, and Leeth put a header in for the fourth Lancer goal.

The game went to the break with Linconlview leading 4-0.

Spencerville's Billy Sidey got the Bearcats on the board at the 17:04 mark of the second period, but senior Jaquobe Markward answered for the Lancers, with a goal to make the score 5-1 Lincolnivew, which would hold through the remainder.

The Lancers improve their record to 6-6-4 on the season, and play at Riverdale Saturday.
