Lady Knights get win over Grove



COLUMBUS GROVE - The Crestview Lady Knights softball team traveled to Columbus Grove Monday evening, and came away with an 11-4 win over the Lady Bulldogs.

Terra Crowle picked up the win for the Lady Knights on the mound. She went six innings, allowing four runs on three hits while walking four and striking out five.

Courtney Grote pitch an inning of relief and allowed no runs on one hit.

Kirstin Hicks led the Crestview offense attack, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and ripped her fourth home run of the season.

Crowle also hit a homerun to help her cause, and added five RBIs.

Mackenzie Riggenbach went 2-for-3 for the Lady Knights in the win.

With the win, Crestview improves to 9-6 on the season, and 4-0 in conference play.

Panthers fall to Adams Central



The Parkway Panther baseball team traveled to Adams Central High School in Indiana Monday for a non-conference, non-state matchup, and came away with a 4-3 loss.

Wyatt Felver took the loss for the Panthers. He went six innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits, while walking two and striking out nine.

Felver helped his cause at the plate with a 2-for-3 night, while Jordan Strader and Jack Roth added RBIs for Parkway.



Lady Panthers crush Coldwater 9-1



The Parkway Lady Panthers rang up a 9-1 victory over Coldwater behind the hitting and pitching of Sierra Fent and Kylie Snyder Monday. 

Snyder hit a two-run homerun in the first and Fent made it back-to-back, with her fifth homer of the year to stake the Panthers to a quick 3-0 lead. 

The two also just gave up one hit each and combined to strike out seven. 

Lindsey Walls was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Serina Siano had two doubles for Parkway.  Kayla Walls also had a two-hit game.

Cougar tennis falls to Shawnee



LIMA - The Van Wert Cougars got beat by Shawnee 5-0 in tennis Monday, ending Van Wert's five-game win streak. The Cougars fought hard and played a tough Shawnee team on the road.

"We are growing as a team and these guys are starting to gel. We will learn from this loss. I will stick with this lineup throughout this season. This team continues to grow and we have a big week ahead of us with four straight WBL matches," said Van Wert coach Mitch Price.
