SENTENCING

Johnathon McBride, 23, Van Wert, was sentenced for domestic Violence, F4. He was sentenced to 5 years community control, up to 6 months WORTH Center, 200 hours community service, 30 days jail at later date, substance abuse assessment and mental health assessment and treatment, 3 years intensive probation, ordered to pay costs, partial appointed counsel fees, plus monthly probation fee once employed. Remanded to WORTH Center.

ARRAIGNMENT

Juan Maldonado, 35, Lima, entered a not guilty plea to trafficking in marijuana, F4. He was released on a surety bond with pretrial set for March 7, 2018 at 8 a.m.

CHANGES OF PLEAS

Thomas Buckner, Jr., 42, Ohio City, changed his plea to guilty to illegal manufacturing of drugs, F1 and child endangering, F3 before the start of his jury trial. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for March 15, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.

Reanne Jordan, 19, Ohio City, changed her plea to guilty to a prosecutor’s bill of information charging her with obstructing justice, F5. Other pending charges were dismissed for her plea. The Court ordered a percentage investigation and set sentencing for March 28, 2018 at 9 a.m.

Jeremy Paige, 34, Van Wert, was sentenced for trespass in a habitation, F4. He was sentenced to 5 years community control, up to 6 months WORTH Center, 200 hours community service, 30 days jail at later date, substance abuse and mental health assessments and treatments, no contact with victim, obey civil protection order, 3 years intensive probation, ordered to pay costs, partial counsel fees, and monthly probation fee.

VIOLATIONS

Nathan Egly, 32, Fort Wayne, denied violating his bond by failing to appear. Hearing set for March 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or commercial surety.

Rex Keysor, 48, Van Wert, admitted violating his bond by being arrested for another crime. Pretrial set for March 14, 2018. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or commercial surety.

Nowelle Finger, 26, Van Wert, denied violating her bond by failing a drug test. A hearing is set at 10:30 a.m., March 7, 2018. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or commercial surety.

CHANGE OF PLEAS

Emily Caton, 37, Franklin, Ohio, changed her plea to guilty to a prosecutor’s bill of information charging unauthorized use of a vehicle, M1. The Court set sentencing for March 28, 2018 at 9 a.m.
