VAN WERT — The following individuals appeared before Judge Martin Burchfield in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court:

ARRAIGNMENTS (all entered not guilty pleas)

Thomas West, 54, Middle Point, was arraigned for domestic Violence, F4. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or commercial surety and hearing was set for March 9, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.

Anthony Sexton, 53, Van Wert, was arraigned for robbery, F2, and abduction, F3. His bond was set at $100,000 cash or commercial surety and pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Joshua Finfrock, 33, Cecil, Ohio, was arraigned for trespass in a habitation, F4, and aggravated menacing, M1. His bond was set at $10,000 cash or commercial surety with an order to have no contact with the victim. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Joshua Bunker, 23, Van Wert, was arraigned on two counts for retaliation, F3, harassment by bodily substance, F5, and assault M1. His bond was set at $10,000 cash and he was ordered to have no contact with any of the victims. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Nathan Braun, 35, Van Wert, was arraigned on two counts of importuning, F5, and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, M1. He was released on a surety bond with an order not to use any electronic media for communications. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Kurt Strukamp, 55, Madison, Indiana, was arraigned for aggravated possession of drugs, F2, and possession of drug abuse instruments, M1. He was released on a surety bond with waiver of extradition. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Johnny Bowersock, 53, Van Wert, was arraigned for domestic violence, F3. He was released on a surety bond with an order to have no contact with with the victim. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Brandi Runyon, 27, Van Wert, was arraigned for two counts of assault, F4. She was released on a surety bond with an order to have no contact with the victims. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.

Alexander Chorvas, 22, Van Wert, was arraigned for domestic violence, F4. He was released on a surety bond. Pretrial was set for March 21, 2018 at 9 a.m.

SENTENCINGS

Frank Bill, 62, Van Wert, was charged with two counts of aggravated possession of Drugs, F5. He was sentenced to 180 days jail on each count, concurrent. He was also ordered to pay court costs and partial appointed counsel fees.

Percy Huffman, 36, Lima, was charged with theft, F5. He was sentenced to 5 years community control, 60 days jail at later date, 200 hours community service, substance abuse and mental health assessments and treatment, 3 years intensive probation, ordered to pay costs and restitution to victim, ordered to pay a monthly probation fee and partial appointed counsel fees.

TIME WAIVER

Nowelle Finger, 26, Van Wert, signed a time waiver in open court and requested additional time to prepare her case.

VIOLATIONS

Samantha Lacy, 25, Van Wert, admitted to violating her probation by failing to complete the WORTH Center program. She was sentenced to 180 days jail with credit for 102 days served. Also ordered to pay court costs and partial appointed counsel fees.

James Ramirez, 27, Van Wert, admitted to violating his probation, however, since he has already served the maximum time in jail for the charge, he was unsuccessfully terminated from probation. His restitution and court costs orders remain in effect.

Robert Seibert, 31, Van Wert, denied violating his probation by testing positive for drugs and failing to report. A hearing was set for Marhc 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.

Nathan Egly, 32, Fort Wayne, admitted to violating his probation by failing to report. A continued hearing was set for March 14, 2018 at 8 a.m.
