Rodney Matthew Parsons, 47, of Van Wert, was arrested for domestic violence by threat.

1/15 3:41 p.m.

Brittany Nickole Pessefall, 21, of Van Wert, came in to the Van Wert Police Department and turned herself in on an outstanding warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court.

1/15 4:47 p.m.

Spencer L. Davis, 26, of Lima, was arrested on three outstanding warrants out of Van Wert Municipal Court.

Van Wert County Sheriff Office Reports

1/10 10 a.m.

Tawnie Johnson, 28, of Van Wert, was arrested on a warrant out of Van Wert Common Pleas Court.

1/11 9:58 p.m.

Chelsea M. Bok was arrested on a warrant out of Common Pleas Court.

1/15 9:05 p.m.

Aaron M. Joseph, 30, of Ohio City, was arrested on a warrant out of Athens County Court of Common Pleas.

Delphos City Police Reports

On 1-11-2018, officers were sent to the 100 block of East 13th Street in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival officers met with two males and a female at the residence. After speaking with all parties involved officers found probable cause to arrest 25 year old Gerald A. Kohorst, of Delphos, for domestic violence and assault. Kohorst was transported to the Allen County Jail and will appear in Lima Municipal Court on the charges.

On 1-12-2018, officers were sent to the 300 block of South Main Street for a theft report. A female at the residence told officers that an item was delivered to her residence by FedEx while she was away. The female came home to find that the item was missing. The incident remains under investigation.

On 1-13-2018, a male reported that he was involved in an attempted scam while on Facebook. The male sent an inappropriate image to a person he believed to be a female. After sending the image the person receiving it stated that they wanted $5,000 or they would publish it. The male was advised that it was a scam and instructed to block the contact.

On 1-14-2018, a male came to the police department with items that were found in his residence. The male believed that the items were that of his juvenile daughter’s friend, which would be illegal for a juvenile to possess. The items were turned over to officers for destruction.

On 1-15-2018, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of North Canal Street in reference to a fight that had occurred. Officers spoke with multiple subjects at the residence, most of whom were intoxicated. After gathering the information, the victims were undecided if they wished to pursue charges.

On 1-16-2018, officers met with a female in the 700 block of Jennings Street in regards to a theft complaint. The female told officers that she believed that an item was taken from her residence by a male who had visited earlier. The female tried to contact the male about the item, but was unable.

On 1-17-2018, officers responded to a business in the 1100 block of Elida Avenue after an employee reported a theft incident. The employee told officers that a male had left without paying for an item and stated that he would return with money, but never did. The suspect’s identification, which was being held by the business, was turned over to officers for further investigation.
