VAN WERT – The following cases were seen by Judge Martin Burchfield in the Van Wert Court of Common Pleas:

THURSDAY, JAN. 24, 2019


Scott McDonley, 34, Celina, changed his plea to Guilty to theft, F5, amended from F4. He was then sentenced to 180 days jail from today, concurrent with current Auglaize County prison sentence. He was ordered to pay costs and partial appointed counsel fees.

FRIDAY, JAN. 25, 2019


Adam Blatteau, 38, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to theft, F5, and then requested treatment in lieu of conviction on that case. He also changed his plea to guilty to telecommunication harassment, M1. On the harassment case, he was sentenced to 45 days jail with credit for 45 days served, and ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, plus costs. The theft case was continued until March 26 for hearing on his treatment request.

TUESDAY, JAN. 29, 2019


Benjamin McIntosh, 43, Delphos, admitted to violating his bond by not reporting to probation. A new bond was set at $10,000 cash or commercial surety. Pretrial was set for Feb. 13, 2019.
