VAN WERT – Judge Martin Burchfield saw the following cases in the Van Wert Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday, May 29, 2019:


Crystal Wills, 39, Delphos, changed her plea to guilty to two counts of aggravated trafficking drugs, F3. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for June 26 at 9 a.m.


Christopher Knuth, 34, Middle Point, was sentenced for failure to provide notice of change of address, F5. He appeared for sentencing, but the sentencing was postponed until June 13 at 9 a.m.

Ernest Vasconcellos, 50, Van Wert, was sentenced for domestic violence, M1. He was sentencing to one year community control, 60 days jail, credit for 60 days served, 30 days additional jail at later date, 50 hours community service, mental health assessment and treatment, one year intensive probation, and ordered to pay monthly probation fee, partial appointed counsel fees and costs.

Zachariah Germann, 31, Van Wert, was sentenced following a bond violation/treatment in lieu violation on original charges of possession of LSD, F5, and two counts of assault, M1. He was sentenced to 180 days jail on each assault case, to run concurrent to each other, 180 days on the LSD charge, consecutive to the assault cases, total 360 days jail with credit for 184 days already served. The Court will consider inpatient treatment after 90 or more days served. He was also ordered to pay partial attorney fees plus costs.

Jenifer Lynnsey Jane Davis, 23, Van Wert, was sentenced for a probation violation for original charges of obstructing justice, F5, permitting drug abuse, F5, trafficking counterfeit controlled substances, F5, and permitting drug abuse, F5. She was sentenced to one year community control from Wednesday, May 29, 90 days jail starting Wednesday, May 29, 30 additional days jail at later date, 200 hours community service, no illegal drugs, etc., random drug screens, substance abuse and mental health assessment and treatment.
