VAN WERT – The following cases were seen in the Court of Common Pleas by Judge Martin Burchfield:

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2019

BOND VIOLATION

Alexandria Fletter, 21, Van Wert, admitted to violating her bond by failing to report. A new bond was set at $5,000 cash. Pretrial is set for Nov. 14 at 8 a.m.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2019

ARRAIGNMENTS (All entered not guilty pleas)

Daniel Craig, 37, Van Wert, was arraigned for domestic violence, F4, and assault, M1. His bond was set for $10,000 cash or commercial surety. He was ordered to have no contact with the victims. Pretrial was set for Dec. 11 at 8 a.m.

Abbey Eutsler, 33, Venedocia, was arraigned for two counts of domestic violence, F4, and one count of intimidation of a victim, F3. Her bond was set $50,000 cash or commercial surety with an order to have no contact with the victim. Pretrial was set for Dec. 11 at 8 a.m.

Ronald Schumm, 22, Willshire, was arraigned for aggravated vehicle homicide, F2, and aggravated vehicle homicide, F3. He was released on a surety bond with a pretrial set for Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.

Randy Maze, 60, Lima, was arraigned for passing bad checks, F5. He was released on a surety bond with a pretrial set for Dec. 11 at 8 a.m.

Mitchell Grote, 23, Van Wert, was arraigned for receiving stolen property, F4, and carrying a concealed weapon, M1. He was released on a surety bond with a pretrial set for Dec. 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Phillip Graves, 26, Columbus, was arraigned for failure to register as a sex offender, F3. His bond was set at $25,000 cash or commercial surety and a pretrial was set for Dec. 11 at 8 a.m.

Philip Baxter, 52, Willshire, was arraigned for breaking and entering, F5, intimidation, M1, and unauthorized use of property, F5. He was released on a surety bond on the condition that he have no contact with the County Treasurer’s Office and that his computers be available for inspection by BCI. Pretrial is set for Jan. 16, 2020, at 10:30 a.m.

Julienne Rolsten, 50, Van Wert, was arraigned for breaking and entering, F5, tampering with records, F3, and unauthorized use of property, F5. She was released on a surety bond on the condition that she have no contact with the County Treasurer’s Office and that her computers be available for inspection by BCI. Pretrial is set for Jan. 16, 2020, at 1 p.m.

Juliann Zinn, 59, Van Wert, was arraigned for breaking and entering, F5. She was released on a surety bond on the condition that she have no contact with the County Treasurer’s Office and that her computers be available for inspection by BCI. Pretrial is set for Jan. 16, 2020, at 1 p.m.

SENTENCINGS

Emily Bollenbacher, 28, Van Wert, was sentenced to 6 to 9 years prison for aggravated trafficking drugs, F2, and 18 months prison for aggravated trafficking drugs, F4, both to concurrent with each other but consecutive to her Mercer County prison sentence. She was also ordered to pay court costs.

Spencer Davis, 28, Van Wert, was sentenced for violating his probation. He was sentenced to 260 days jail with credit for 260 days served.

Joshua Hawk, 42, Montpelier, Indiana, was sentenced to 8 months prison for OVI, F4, and will have his license suspended for 10 years. He was also ordered to pay a fine of $1350 and court costs.
