TIME WAIVERS

Caleb Phillips, 18, Van Wert, entered a time waiver in open court and requested additional time to prepare his cases. Pretrial was set for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Bradley Sheets, 36, Convoy, entered a time waiver in open court and requested additional time to prepare his cases. Pretrial was set for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Kayla Lee, 31, Van Wert, entered a time waiver in open court and requested additional time to prepare her case. Pretrial was set for Dec. 19, 2018, at 9 a.m.

PLEAS

Anthony Bonifas, 20, Delphos, changed his plea to guilty to domestic violence, M1, reduced by the prosecutor from F4. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Johnny Bowersock, 54, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to domestic violence, F4. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Robert Stegaman, 44, Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to domestic violence, M1, reduced by the prosecutor from F4. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Christopher Stemen, 34, Van Wert, changed his pleas to guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, F4, and grand theft motor vehicle, F4. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 19, 2018, at 9 a.m.

Joshua McGinnis, 37, Convoy, changed his pleas to guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, F2, and failure to register as a sex offender, F3. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for Dec. 12, 2018, at 9 a.m.

VIOLATIONS

Sybron Pinkston, 29, Lima, admitted to violating his bond by failing to appear at court hearings and failing to report to probation. He was re-released on a surety bond with twice a week reporting and must report today to the Van Wert Police Department for processing.

Tawnie Johnson, 29, Van Wert, admitted to violating her probation by failing drug tests and failing to report to probation. Defendant has served all of the time she was sentenced to while awaiting court and was therefore released and terminated unsuccessfully from probation.

Ecco Burker, 33, Van Wert, admitted violating her probation by refusing to enter the WORTH Center. She was sentenced to 360 days jail with credit for 46 days served.

SENTENCINGS

Amber Baker, 28, Van Wert, was sentenced for attempted conveyance of prohibited substance into a correctional facility, F4, and aggravated possession of drugs, F5. She was sentenced to 17 months prison for the conveyance charge and 12 months prison on the possession charge, concurrent. She was given credit for 94 days served, and ordered to pay court costs.
