VAN WERT — After 32 years of service, the Van Wert Municipal Court is saying farewell to its Clerk, Deb Lichtensteiger.

Lichtensteiger has been with the Court at all three locations in town. She began when the Municipal Court was a small room in the upstairs of the current Common Pleas Court, she moved with the Court to 124 S. Market St., the “the old post office,” and was very instrumental in the move to the Court’s current location at 102 E. Main St. Lichtensteiger played a very important role at the Municipal Court throughout the years. Her service to the Court and to the community will be missed.

Megan Ryan will be replacing Lichtensteiger as the Clerk of the Municipal Court. She has been with the Court for 12 years and looks forward to taking on her new role as Clerk.
