VAN WERT – Streetlight Catering, located on Ervin Road connected to The Bridge Bookstore, cut the ribbon on their new location Friday.

Paula Nuest and her sons Aaron and Adam, of Paulding, have been operating the catering business for several years and wanted to open a physical location in Van Wert to work as a base kitchen.

Streetlight Catering can offer desserts such as cheesecakes or can serve entire weddings. Nuest and her family have catered up to 600-person weddings in the past down to small events.

"Our motto is that we customize our catering event for any size," said Nuest.

Streetlight Catering will also be offering "take and bake" meals at their Van Wert location. Every week, 3-5 meals will be offered and people can order the meals for pick up on Tuesdays from 12-7 p.m. Meals will be able to serve 4-8 people and will be oven-ready.
