    DELPHOS – The Lincolnview Lancers closed the game early by defeating the Jefferson Wildcats 18-0 Monday in five innings. Creed Jesse pitch a complete game shutout and held the Cats to just five hits in route to their overwhelming victory.

    VAN WERT – Van Wert Lodge No. 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks helped sponsor the annual D.A.R.E Camp held June 12, 13 and 14.

When art is added to those recollections, the stories take on a unique quality that can only be described as an “illustrated” life.

  • Buschur returns to where it all started

    VAN WERT – This past weekend, during Rockford Community Days, Parkway alumni teacher and artist Todd Buschur returned to the community where he made the first strokes of paint toward the design of his first picture.

    CONVOY, Ohio – Annabelle Miller, 94, of rural Convoy, died at 7:43 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Van Wert Health.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Facing a rising tide of outrage from Democrats and some Republicans over the forced separation of migrant children and parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, President Donald Trump dug in Monday, again falsely blaming Democrats in the escalating political crisis.

  • Earlier this week a resident addressed City Council about litter she sees in roadways, on sidewalks, and around various other parts of town. She noted that she had been doing her best to pick it up and asked if there was anyone that could help her. I admired her diligence, effort, and the fact that she wasn’t complaining about picking it up herself, but instead, asking for someone to help her do it.
