VAN WERT - The Board of Directors for Main Street Van Wert is pleased to announce the selection of Adam Ries for the position of Interim Program Manager. Ries is assuming responsibility for the position currently held by Seth Baker. He will be starting in his new position on Monday, August 29.

Ries is a native of Van Wert and a recent graduate of Kent State University. He earned a degree in Interior Design as a student in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. While engaged in large and small architectural design projects, he acquired an appreciation for historic preservation.

"I aspire to work with a collaborative team of individuals where I can apply my design education, varied work experiences and passion for historic preservation to benefit my community," he said.

An open house is being hosted by the Board of Directors at the office of Main Street Van Wert on Wednesday, August 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The business and professional community, along with stakeholders in Main Street Van Wert, are invited to meet Ries and congratulate Baker for a job well done.
