VAN WERT — In Tuesday night soccer action, the Spencerville boys shutout Allen East and the Van Wert girls were blanked by Bath.

SPENCERVILLE — Spencerville recorded their second shutout of the week in a 4-0 win over Allen East on Tuesday night.
Both Will Gallaspie and Emerson Layman scored for the Bearcats as they celebrated senior night.
Brennan Lehman also stopped seven shots in goal to preserve the shutout.
Next up for Spencerville is their tournament opener where they'll face the winner of Miller City and Allen East on Oct. 22 in Spencerville.
