VAN WERT — The Western Buckeye League released their annual softball award honorees.

Celina’s Maddy Luebke was selected as the WBL’s player of the year. Nichole Driggs from Celina and Dennis Parrish of Defiance share coach of the year honors.

The Lady Cougars’ Lauren Moore earned first team honors, while Alexis Metz earned third team honors and Olivia Kline earned an honorable mention nod.
