GROVER HILL - The Edgerton boys and girls cross country teams each took home victories over Wayne Trace as the schools ran at Welcome Park in Grover Hill on Thursday.

The Bulldog boys varsity posted a 15-48 win over the Raiders as Edgerton took the first five spots across the finish line.

Hunter Burke was the individual winner with a time of 18:31 followed by teammate Connor Thiel in 19:08 and Elliott Roth with a time of 19:25.

Tyce Homier was the first Raider to finish, posting a time of 19:49 to place fifth. Jace Vining was ninth in 20:24 and Alan Keysor took 13th in 22:06.

Ethan Moore was 15th in 22:59 followed by Carson Rupp (17th, 23:29), Austin Lyons (18th, 23:33) and Noah Schisler (19th, 24:52).

On the girls side, the Lady Raiders did not field a full team but had two runners finish in the top three individuals.

Kassidy Campbell won the race with a time of 21:26 while teammate Kiara Bahena placed third in 22:50. Edgerton’s Stefanie Thiel finished second for the Bulldogs in 21:58.

Faith Meraz posted a time of 26:48 to place 14th for Wayne Trace and Makenna Elliott ran a 27:34 to finish 16th.
