“This was a big game we had to win, and we are hoping Columbus Grove can win and help get us a share of the NWC crown,” said Lady Knight coach Carl Etzler. “We came out with a purpose, and it was a nice tune up before [Friday] when we travel to Liberty-Benton and face a pretty good team.”

The Lady Knights improve to 6-2 in the NWC and 15-10 overall as Jefferson drops to 1-15 and 0-8 in the NWC. Crestview stands an outside shot at winning the NWC title if Spencerville loses its last NWC game.
