ROCKFORD — Parkway hosted Minster for the first MAC matchup of the year. The Wildcats destroyed the Lady Panthers 73-7.

Minster shot 59 percent from the field (29-49), and 8-12 from behind the 3-point line. The key to the route was the 35 turnovers that Parkway forced Thursday. Minster forced 15 steals as well as blocking three shots. The Lady Wildcats out rebounded parkway 21-11.

Parkway went just 2-11 from the field, 1-3 from the perimeter. The Lady Panthers also converted two of four free throws. Kris Kirby led the Lady Panthers with three points. Elise Darrigan scored a bucket, while Claire Langenkamp and Shaelyn Thomas both hit one point. Claire Eichler led Parkway with five rebounds.

Parkway will be back in MAC action next Thursday when they travel to Fort Recovery.
