SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Van Wert Cougar alum Chris Morrow picked a great time for his biggest scoring output of the year.

Top-ranked NCAA Division II West Liberty University went to 33-0 on the season and advanced to the Final Four thanks in great part to Morrow's 25 points and six rebounds off the bench in a 113-95 win over Anderson (S.C.) University on Wednesday night in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Hilltoppers will now face BYU-Hawaii tonight at 8:30 p.m. The game can be seen on CBS College Sports.

This season WLU won its fifth D-II scoring title in the last six years by averaging more than 111 points per game. Anderson hung with them for the first half with the Hilltoppers holding only a 52-47 lead at the intermission. The black-and-gold came out smoking in the second half, however, shooting 68 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes to score 61 points and pulled away for the victory.

Morrow came off the bench to score 25 points and lead four Hilltoppers scoring at least 20 points on the night. He was 4 of 4 shooting from beyond the arc and 10 of 11 from the field, also grabbing six rebounds which tied for the team lead. He added two blocked shots to the stat sheet as well.

BYU-Hawaii advanced to the semifinals by beating Bloomfield University, 96-89.

If WLU wins, they will play in the Division II Finals which will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS.
