HAVILAND - The Tinora girls and Fairview boys captured team titles at the 43rd annual Wayne Trace Track Invitational Friday night.

The Lady Rams totaled 81 points to win the meet and nip second place Ayersville’s 76. Fairview finished third with 69 while Hicksville and Holgate tied for fourth with 67.

Wayne Trace (51), Edon (36), Antwerp (28), Edgerton (21), Lakewood Park (19) and Stryker (12) rounded out the girls squads scoring points.

Raena Willett of Holgate claimed the most valuable participant honor for girls with victories in the 1600 run (5:31.65) and 3200 run (12:02.30). She also ran on the Lady Tiger 1600 relay team that claimed the title and placed second in the 800 run.

Wayne Trace freshman Rachel Stoller captured both the 200 dash (28.12) and 400 dash (1:04.12) while taking second in the 100 dash (13.57).

Kassidy Campbell picked up sixth in the 800 run while placing fourth in the 1600 run. Katrina Stoller crossed the line fourth in the 300 hurdles and Hannah Sanderson took fifth in the pole vault. Kaitlin Vest also placed fourth in the long jump for the Lady Raiders.

The Lady Raider 1600 relay squad of Kaylee Shepherd, Katrina Stoller, Sadie Sinn and Kassidy Campbell took fifth while the quartet of Kassidy Campbell, Alexa Campbell, Gracie Laukhuf and Sadie Sinn combined to finish fourth in the 3200 relay.

On the boys side, Fairview won the meet with 93 points while Edgerton (82) was second and Edon (70) took third.

Tinora (58), Wayne Trace (57), Holgate (49-1/4), Antwerp (43-1/2), Hicksville (40-1/4), Ayersville (32) and Stryker (2) picked up the remaining points.

Edgerton’s Greg Roth was named the meet’s Most Valuable Participant after winning the 110 hurdles (17.33) and 300 hurdles (44.44). He also helped the Bulldog 1600 relay finish first and 400 relay place second.

The Raiders’ Austin Reed captured the title in the 800 run with a time of 2:06.37 and picked up a sixth place finish in the 1600 run.

Eli Moore picked up a fourth place finish in the 200 dash while Owen Manz placed fifth in the 800 run. Trevor Sinn ended up sixth in the 3200 run with teammates Cale Crosby and Tyce Homier grabbing third and fourth place, respectively, in the high jump. Richard Dunno also picked up a third place spot in the pole vault.

Noah Hasch took fifth in the shot put and Nate Showalter placed fourth for the Raiders.

Crosby, Isaac Head, Ethan Moore, Eli Moore combined to finish sixth in the 400 relay while the Raider 1600 relay quartet of Manz, Dunno, Head and Homier posted a third place finish.
