LAFAYETTE - Lima Central Catholic rolled to the championship of the Allen East Girls Golf Invitational at Colonial Golf Course on Tuesday as the Thunderbirds posted a 316 to win the tournament by 59 strokes over second place Lexington’s 375.

Lim Shawnee finished third with a 411 with Lincolnview fourth at 435 and New Bremen rounded out the top five schools with a 437.

Findlay finished sixth at 441 followed by Anna (442), Fort Recovery (442), Wapakoneta (449) and Hopewell Loudon (454).

The rest of the teams in the tournament included Wayne Trace (461), Lexington ‘B’ (463), Delphos St. John’s (472), North Baltimore (483), Ottoville (506), Lake (509), Defiance (510) and Minster (518).

Mandi Ruminski of Lexington captured medalist honors in the tournament with a 71 while Lima Central Catholic’s Mary Kelly Mulcahy shot a 72. The Thunderbird duo of Emma Mayers and Erin Mulcahy shot scores of 78 and 79, respectively, and Kalida’s Grace Miller posted an 82.

Winter Boroff led the way for the Lady Lancers with a 97 and Shiann Kraft chipped in a 98. Other scorers for the blue and gold were Aryonna Hoghe (118), Adalee Purk (122) and Dylann Carey (142).

For Wayne Trace, Claire Sinn led the way with a 101 followed by Chloe Parker (115), Emma Crosby (119), Addie Etzler (126), Alli Denny (129) and Riley Daeger (133).

Cassidy Beining paced Delphos St. John’s with a 114 while Paige Gaynier and Cassidy Werts both shot a 115. Lydia Werts (128), Jillian Dickman (129) and Hannah Will (141) completed the Blue Jay lineup.

Kayla Nartker also had a 97 for Kalida.
